Indeed it is one of the most difficult languages in the world.  Being a China native, I can\u2019t appreciate enough of the beauty of the Chinese language until I have a need to translate it into English.  For example, \u676d\u5dde\u516b\u666f the eight famous scenes of Hangzhou is perfectly constructed in four small but precise and vivid Chinese words.  These Chinese words paint a lovely picture on my mind.  How can I translate them into English that still maintain the same beauty as they are in Chinese?  I can\u2019t!  It\u2019s a sad thing, isn\u2019t it?  But at least this is the best I can do to translate the top eight famous scenes of Hangzhou in English.<br \/>\n1\uff0e\u65ad\u6865\u6b8b\u96ea Remnant Snow on the Bridge in Winter\uff1b<br \/>\n2\uff0e\u5e73\u6e56\u79cb\u6708 Moon over the Peaceful Lake in Autumn\uff1b<br \/>\n3\uff0e\u962e\u58a9\u73af\u78a7 Ruan Gong Islet Submerged in Greenery\uff1b<br \/>\n4\uff0e\u96f7\u950b\u5915\u7167 Leifeng Pagoda in the Sunset\uff1b<br \/>\n5\uff0e\u66f2\u9662\u98ce\u8377 Curved Yard and Lotus Pool in Summer\uff1b<br \/>\n6\uff0e\u4e09\u6f6d\u5370\u6708 Three Ponds Mirroring the Moon\uff1b<br \/>\n7\uff0e\u67f3\u6d6a\u95fb\u83ba Orioles Singing in the Willows\uff1b<br \/>\n8\uff0e\u5357\u5c4f\u665a\u949f Evening Bell Ringing at the Nanping Hill\u3002<\/p>\n<p>And then, it came the new ten scenes of the well known West Lake located in Hangzhou\u897f\u6e56\u65b0\u5341\u666f:<br \/>\n\u4e91\u6816\u7af9\u5f84Bamboo\u2013Lined Path at Yunqi<br \/>\n\u6ee1\u9647\u6842\u96e8Sweet Osmanthus Rain at Manjuelong Village<br \/>\n\u864e\u8dd1\u68a6\u6cc9Dreaming of Tiger Spring at Hupao Valley<br \/>\n\u9f99\u4e95\u95ee\u8336Inquiring About Tea at Dragon Well<br \/>\n\u4e5d\u6eaa\u70df\u6811Nine Creeks Meandering Through a Misty Forest<br \/>\n\u5434\u5c71\u5929\u98ceHeavenly Wind over Wu Hill<br \/>\n\u962e\u58a9\u73af\u78a7Ruan Gong Islet Submerged in Greenery<br \/>\n\u9ec4\u9f99\u5410\u7fe0Yellow Dragon Cave Dressed in Green<br \/>\n\u7389\u7687\u98de\u4e91Clouds Scurrying over Jade Emperor Hill<br \/>\n\u5b9d\u77f3\u6d41\u971eRainbow over Precious Stone Hill<\/p>\n<p>How many of these scenes have you seen?
